Description
This image depicts a plan for the Orphan House in Savannah. The large building is the main building for the Orphan House and is surrounded by smaller buildings. This lot includes the orphan house, the infirmary, Work House, Kitchin, Wash House, Cart House, a Still House, Stable, a Store House, Necessary Houses, a Court Yard, Wells, the Great Garden gate, and the Workmen's Huts in the woods. This map shows the many jobs and people that go into making the Orphan House possible, while also showing how large it is because it housed many people.
